Cornwall players at
Budleigh Salterton's May Tournament.
Over the six days from Mon 13 to Sat 18th May 2002 players in Division II of the Tournament (Handicap Play) players competed for the J.K. Brown Memorial Challenge Cup.
Malcolm Hooper (Cornwall) won this cup in 2001 and returned to defend his title in 2002.
The final was a repeat of last year's with Malcolm playing Tony Backhouse (also a Cornwall player).
Malcolm emerged the victor and thus retained his title together with a handicap change from 9 to 8.

New CA Referee
Tony Backhouse qualified as a CA Referee on 10th March 2002.
New CA Club Coach
Ian Wilson qualified as a CA Club Coach on 19th May 2002.
