The Handicap Singles Final was between Rosemary Bradshaw (24) and Tony Backhouse (8).
Rosemary made immediate use of her bisques and, keeping Tony in his seat, proceeded to make many hoops.
Tony in his turn was unable to "get going" mainly due to being "kept out of the game" successfully by Rosemary; never the less towards the latter part of the game he managed to score a few points.
Rosemary played well, even when her bisques were gone and ended up the winner (On-Time).
The final score was ? - ?
Howard Rosevear (Club President) presented the Trophy to Rosemary.
Afterwards Tony (Chairman) thanked Mr Rosevear, on behalf of all club members, for his generous and enthusiastic support for the Croquet Club.
