The 10th World Championship, was completed on Sunday Aug 14,2005 at Cheltenham with 80 players from over 20 countries competing.

Reg Bamford of South Africa won the event for the first time.  He beat the previous holder, Robert Fulford of England +17tp +26sxp +17sxp in the final with a breathtaking display of almost flawless croquet.
