Richard Griffiths achieves a CA Gold Award

Congratulations to Richard Griffiths who has received a Croquet Association Gold Award for his play in the European Asociation Croquet Championship at Jersey in Sep 2010.
Gold is awarded for your first winning Triple Peel in qualifying competitions.
The Croquet Association's Merit Award Scheme aims to encourage enterprising play and to raise overall skills. |

Jersey's Tony Le Moignan won the 2010 European Croquet Championship after beating fellow Islander Gavin Carter in the final.
Le Moignan overcame Carter by +22TP, +26TP and +26 TP in the match at Jersey Croquet Club.
On his way to the final, Le Moignan recorded wins over France's Boris Dourthe, Luxembourg's John Davis and the Isle of Man's Kevin Garrad.
Le Moignan last won the European Championship in 2006.
Carter also beat some impressive names on his path to the final, recording wins over Scotland's Bill Spalding, number one seed Andrew Johnston and England's Robin Brown.
