Mon 3 Apr 2011 - Short-Lawn Comp at Nailsea
Cornwall sent a team of 4 - Ron George, Colin Hadley, Des Honey & David Edwards, to the Nailsea Short Lawn tournament on April 3rd. Cornwall had not entered a team in 2010, and were entered in division 2.
Each division had 5 competing Clubs, giving four 75 minute games in the day.
Cornwall won division 2, and will we assume be promoted to division 1 next year. We were in fact unbeatable after the third round.
Fowey club sent four members, who came second by one point in division one. Stephen Read excelled himself, with four straight wins, including two whitewashes.
