All England Association Handicap Championship

Reg Wapling played in the Area Final of the All England Association Handicap Championships
at Nailsea on the 1st and 2nd September, winning 14 : 11 v Jim Gregory (Nailsea), and 22 : 13 v Alex
Shipp (Kington Langley), but losing 14 : 20 v Janet Salter (Wales), 13 : 17 v Nigel Grant (Cornwall) and
13 : 17 v Bernard Wilson (Nailsea).

A good overall result and quite a tough weekend for a newcomer to tournament croquet, playing 3 three and a quarter hour matches on Saturday and 2 on Sunday.

FUN MORNING AT FOWEY HOTEL - Tue 4 Sep 2007

Fourteen Members of the Fowey Croquet Club breakfasted together on Tuesday, 4th September, followed by a 'Fun Event' at the Fowey Hotel during the remainder of the morning, this included beautiful sunshine, and it was all organised by Barry and David Edwards.
