The team from Rosevear consisted of Peter Dexter, Tanis Boxall, Fiona Russell, Graham Varcoe and Bob Cash.
We had a very warm day with a gentle breeze across the lawns.

It was Graham’s first time playing, with good results. He played in two doubles games, winning one of them and then two single games, winning both. Well done.

Tanis had a good day winning her doubles and three singles. Fiona was successful with a doubles win, one singles win and two games halved.

Handicaps provided Barnstaple with 38 free turns against 15 for Cornwall, an advantage when playing at home.

Barnstaple lawns were much improved from two years ago.
A splendid tea was provided by our hosts at the end of.

All in all, a good win for Cornwall Rosevear
